Mikaela Mayer hopes to end UK hoodoo when she faces Chantelle Cameron in super-welterweight world title clash in Birmingham

Mikaela Mayer is confident of snapping her losing world title run in England and securing the biggest win of her career to date when she meets Chantelle Cameron in a high-stakes unification clash this August, live on Sky Sports.

Mayer's only two previous professional defeats have come on UK soil, with a controversial split-decision loss to Alycia Baumgardner in London in 2022 and another split-decision loss to Natasha Jonas in Liverpool in January 2024.

Despite those setbacks, she has no trepidation in returning to fight British star Cameron on UK soil in Birmingham on Saturday August 29.
